Forever Stamp - TR National Park

The U.S. Postal Service dedicated a new stamp that highlights the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the North Dakota Badlands on June 2nd at the Medora Community Center.

The stamp shows a scenic image of the Little Missouri River winding through the park. The photograph was taken in July 2013 by Q.T Luong who captured the image as part of a 20-yr project to photograph 59 national parks.

The stamp is one of the 16 National Parks Forever Stamps that was unveiled throughout the country. The designs are meant to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
