The summer activities are in full swing in Dickinson, and we have lots of programs on the schedule for the whole family. Be sure to follow us on social media and visit our website for updated information on what’s happening around town. 

First On First 

The First on First concerts are happening every Thursday evening throughout the summer months in downtown Dickinson. The performances begin each week at 5:00pm and feature world class performers and local bands. There are food vendors, beer gardens, and fun activities for the kids.

Dickinson Museum Center 

The Dickinson Museum Center is open for business Monday – Saturday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Their summer programs such as Toddler Tuesdays, Prairie Folk Schools, Picnics in the Park, and kids summer classes and camps are attracting people of all ages. The museum center includes a local and regional history museum, a dinosaur museum, a pioneer machinery museum, and a historic village of buildings that have been relocated to the museum property. There is history for everyone!

Concerts at the Bandshell

The Bandshell Concert Series is held every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm throughout the summer at the Phil Patterson Memorial Bandshell. The outdoor concerts feature concessions and music by local and regional artists. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join the fun!

July 24 – July 4 was Roughrider Days Fair & Expo in Dickinson. This is a great time to plan your vacation to The Western Edge each year. Bring your family out for the fun and enjoy rodeos, 4H exhibits, parades, concerts, arts in the park, demolition derbies, fireworks, and so much more. 

Fluffy Fields Vineyard and Winery 

Dickinson now has it's own winery and vineyards! Fluffy Fields Vineyard and Winerey is locally owned and is now open for business. You can schedule wine tastings, take the grand tour, host events, or just stop by to enjoy a glass of wine on their beautiful patio overlooking the vineyard.
