ND Firefighters to Meet in Dickinson

2013Convention.pngThe ND Firefighters Association will hold their 133rd Annual Convention June 1st – 3rd in Dickinson. The convention, hosted by the Dickinson Fire Department and last held in Dickinson in 2009, will include more than 300 firefighters from across the state.
 
A golf scramble will be held Thursday at the Heart River Golf Course. Afternoon registration begins at 3:00 pm, followed by a meal, social, and entertainment at the West River Ice Center. Friday meetings will be held at the Ramada Grand Dakota Hotel, with registration at 7:30 am.  Saturday registration begins at 8:00 am at the Ramada Grand Dakota Hotel, followed by a presentation by Kevin Quinn, the National Volunteer Fire Council Chairman and an election of officers. The convention will also include various meetings, reports, a fire apparatus and classic car show, a memorial service, an Auxiliary program, and more.
 
The North Dakota Firefighters Association was organized June 4, 1884 and incorporated February 3, 1891 to promote the safety and welfare of the North Dakota Firefighters Association members through uniform and established training standards.
